Frederick L. Dispensiere
Frederick L. Dispensiere is a former member of the Fair Haven, NJ Police Department, the Monmouth County, NJ Prosecutor’s Office Detective Division, and the Monmouth County Police Academy. He retired from the Prosecutor’s Office as a Detective Lieutenant, with over 26 years of active-duty law enforcement experience. In 1998 after retiring from the Prosecutor’s Office he became the Senior Training Officer at the Police Academy until he retired in 2011 with over 12 years of service at the Academy.
During his total law enforcement career Mr. Dispensiere investigated over 2000 fire, arson, and explosion cases, numerous firearms cases, homicides, natural and accidental deaths, major crimes, environmental crimes, sex crimes, child abuse crimes, traffic accidents, and internal affairs investigations. He has testified as an expert in fire and arson investigations, and firearms training and investigations on numerous occasions, including four arson-homicide death penalty cases in NJ.
He has conducted forensic audio restoration and enhancement on over 2000 audio files. He also served as Police Coordinator to the Monmouth County, NJ Office of Emergency Management.
Mr. Dispensiere has conducted training at numerous police academies, fire academies, police agencies, fire agencies, and colleges and universities. He has trained thousands of police officers, firefighters, and emergency responders.
Mr. Dispensiere was a licensed Private Detective in the State of NJ from 2012 until moving to TX in December 2018. His company is now licensed in TX as an Investigations Company, # A10504001.
Mr. Dispensiere is a Certified Public Manager by the State of NJ. He is a member of the following organizations: International Association of Arson Investigators (IAAI), NJ Chapter of the IAAI (Life Member), Texas Association of Licensed Investigators (TALI), National Rifle Association (NRA) Life Member, Veterans of Foreign Wars (Life Member), Monmouth County NJ Retired Detectives Association, Silver Life Member of NJ State Policemen's Benevolent Association, and is a 4th Degree Knight of Columbus. He is an honorably discharged veteran of the US Marine Corps and served in the Republic of South Vietnam with the 7th Marine Regiment of the 1st Marine Division.
